Rare Duck Has Birders Flocking to Wisconsin Marsh
A male Garganey (center) usually found in Europe and western Asia, makes a rare visit to North America at Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area near Grantsburg, Wisconsin where it flies with native Blue-winged teal. This is the first reported instance of the species in the state.
