President Calvin Coolidge (right) fishes the Brule River in Douglas County, Wisconsin, with Native American guide John LaRock in 1928. The canoe, built by local boat builder Joe Lucius, is named "Beaver Dick" and in the middle is Coolidge's white collie, Rob Roy.
